Wahroonga Rugby Club in Sydney has developed some excellent resources for its volunteers and parents. As one of the large junior clubs in Sydney, fielding multiple teams in every age group, they require an extensive roster of coaches, managers and age coordinators, among many other volunteer positions!
In this case study, we share a couple of handy resources the club has developed.
Age Coordinator, Coaches Managers Pack
Developed for their Under 8s Under 9s teams, this document covers areas such as: communication, club culture, roles responsibilities for each position, codes of conduct for coaches, managers and parents, plus a host of information on processes and procedures for everything from wet weather, to injuries, to who bring the oranges and snakes!
It is a great resource that clubs of all different shapes and sizes could no doubt pick up some handy tips from.
